Binesi is a member of Berens River First Nation and received her Call to the Bar in 2023. She completed her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Winnipeg in 2018 receiving the gold medal for her Indigenous Studies major. She graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2022 having finished her law degree with Osgoode Hall’s Intensive Program in Indigenous Lands, Resources and Governments. She is excited to join the firm as a Junior Associate practicing in the areas of Family Law and Child Protection.

Prior to joining our firm, she articled with Peguis Child and Family Services helping with the implementation phase of the First Nation’s own legislation under Bill C-92.

Binesi’s hobbies include beading, sewing and spending time with her family.
