Priscilla is one of two of the founding Partners of Sternat Manaigre Law Corporation and is proud to be one of the few Aboriginal Law firms in Manitoba.

Priscilla is a member of Sandy Bay First Nation and practices primarily in the area of Child Protection and Family Law. Priscilla has acted as legal counsel to a wide variety of individuals, First Nation communities and organizations.

Priscilla received her call to the Bar in 2002 after articling with Legal Aid-Child Protection Law Office. Her career path included legal counsel to the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs in the capacity of Child and Family Services Liaison for the self-government negotiations with Canada and the Province of Manitoba, and as Chief of Political Staff for the Grand Chief. After 6 years Priscilla went into private practice working extensively in family law and child protection law, representing individuals and various child welfare agencies throughout Manitoba.

Priscilla is active in First Nation communities and served as the Vice President on the Board of Directors for the First Nations of Southern Manitoba Network of Care for several years. Priscilla continues to make numerous presentations to high school students in First Nation communities and recently participated in the “living library” at Glenlawn Collegiate and “Human Books” for the Winnipeg School Division. Priscilla takes pride in being a strong role model for youth of all ages and all cultural backgrounds and will take time out of her busy schedule to talk to students when invited.

Prior to law school Priscilla attended the University of Winnipeg and received a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Psychology, Sociology and Criminology.
